We were delighted to be invited to sing in in the Lord Mayor's Jubilee Celebration in Play Close on Friday 3rdJune.
We started to sing at 12. 45 and were not daunted by the flypast of the Lancaster bomber of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at the same time! The pilot obviously enjoyed our singing as he came back over twice more!
It was wonderful to be performing again and the picnicing audience seemed to enjoy it.
Well done to Sasha, Isabelle and Ian for whom this was their first concert.
Thanks as always to Carl, who had preared us so well and led us on the day.
On Sunday, 6th June, a small but perfectly formed group representing Global Harmony participated in a rather damp Sing for Water event at the Leicester Riverside Festival. We sang the premiere of a beautiful song composed by our very own Carl, River Wide in the company of Leicester choirs and our sister choir, Harmonic Voices, who are also directed by Carl.
