Global Harmony is a vibrant mixed a cappella choir based in the heart of Melton Mowbray. We bring people together through the joy of singing, celebrating the rich diversity of world music in a fun, friendly, and informal environment.
Immerse yourself in an exciting blend of global sounds:
African rhythms
Eastern European harmonies
Blues, Rock, Pop, Soul, Gospel, Folk
Songs from the Southern Seas, the Americas, and much more!
No auditions, no experience needed — just a love of music and a willingness to join in. All songs are taught by ear, so you don’t need to read music.
Your first rehearsal is absolutely free — come along and see what we’re all about!
So why not get in touch and come along to one of our weekly Monday night rehearsals to discover what being a Global Harmony member could mean to you.
Established in 1999, we're a supportive, friendly choir with a wealth of experiance.
We believe in the power of music to uplift and connect.
We’re proud to give back to our community — not only by sharing the physical and mental health benefits of singing, but also through our fundraising efforts for charities and local causes.
All our rehearsals are open to potential new members and free for the first session, so why not pay us a visit.
We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings 7.15pm till 9.15pm at the Sandy Lane Methodist Church, Melton Mowbray
Global Harmony produce at least three performances every year with the proceeds often going to charitable causes close to the hearts of our choir members. Recently we’ve been lucky enough to lend our support to the likes of Macmillan, Scarrington Friends of Cancer Research and the Rutland Water Osprey Project.
We are always keen to collaborate with other choirs and musical groups, please get in touch to discuss any upcoming projects you think we’d be suited for.
